Techniques to Know:

Form a Loop

Open Jump Ring

Cutting Chain


Cluster Earrings:

 

  1. Cut (2) 1" lengths of chain.  Attach an earring wire to one end of each chain.
  2. Using a 4mm jump ring, attach a black crystal drop to the other end of each 1" chain.
  3. Make (16) topaz drops and (32) amber drops.
  4. Connect 8 topaz drops and 16 amber drops along each 1" chain.  Begin with the topaz drops.
  5. Cut (12) 1 5/8" lengths of black chain. 
  6. Use 4mm jump rings to gather the chains into two groups of six chains.  Attach the jump rings to the charm jump rings.

Fringe Earrings:

  1. Cut (4) 3/8" and (2) 5/8" lengths of black chain.
  2. Gather a 3/8", a 5/8" and a 3/8" chain together using a 4mm jump ring and attach an earring wire.  Repeat.
  3. Make six beaded links with the following pattern: (3) topaz, (3) amber and (3) topaz bicones.
  4. Attach a beaded link to the bottom link of each chain from step 3. 
  5. Cut (18) 1" lengths of black chain.
  6. Open/Close the bottom of the beaded links to attach (3) 1" chains to each link.

This project is really cool! I'm not usually into these types of colors, but may try it as is. Then again, I may do it with smoky gray and pale blue beads. This would go better with most of my clothes.
