Opening Jump Rings
Cutting Chain
Braided Chain Bracelet:
1. Cut a 7” length of large antique gold chain, medium antique gold chain and silver figure 8 chain.
2. Gather the chains together at one end using a 6mm jump ring.
3. Loosely braid the three chains together. Gather the chain ends using a 6mm jump ring.
4. Use additional 6mm jump rings to attach a toggle clasp end to each of the jump rings gather the chains.
Medium Length Necklace:
1. Cut a 13” length of antique gold medium chain. Attach a bar toggle clasp end to one end of the chain using a 6mm jump ring.
2. Cut an 8 3/4” length of silver figure 8 chain and a 9 1/4” length of antique gold small chain.
3. Gather the two chains together at each end using 6mm jump rings.
4. Attach one of the jump rings to the other end of the chain from step 1.
5. Connect a round toggle clasp end to the other jump ring from step 3.
Mixed Link Long Necklace:
1. Cut (5) 4” lengths of small silver twist chain, (5) 4” lengths of small antique gold chain and (4) 1 3/4” lengths of large antique gold chain.
2. Gather the small chains into five pairs, one silver and one antique gold chain in each group. Use 6mm jump rings to gather the two chains together at each end.
3. Connect the lengths of large antique gold chain between each pair of chains.
4. Attach a 1 1/2” length of extender chain to the jump ring at one end of the necklace and attach a lobster claw clasp to the other end.
